Sikafloor® CureHard-24 is a ready-to-use, water-based lithium silicate solution that hardens, densifies and dustproofs concrete floors. It reacts with the free lime in the concrete to form additional binder within the surface, increasing surface hardness and abrasion resistance, reducing dusting and producing an easier-to-clean surface with an increasing sheen under traffic. It is used on new and existing power-trowelled and polished concrete floors.

Storage

Store in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Refer to the PDS for exact storage temperature and shelf life.

Application Guide (5 Easy Steps)

01
Surface Preparation

The concrete must be clean and free from dust, laitance, curing compounds, coatings, oil and grease. For polished floors, apply at the appropriate grinding stage as specified.

Application

Apply the ready-to-use product evenly by low-pressure sprayer and spread with a microfibre pad or soft broom to keep the surface wet.

Working In

Keep the surface wet with the product for the specified dwell time so it penetrates and reacts; do not allow it to dry and form a residue during this period.

Removing Excess

Before it dries, remove any excess gel/residue by lightly misting with water and squeegeeing off, then allow the floor to dry.

05
Finishing

For polished floors, continue polishing through the finer grits as specified. The sheen develops further with normal use and cleaning.
